The Digital Projection Monitor (DPM®) is a proven replacement for 26” CRT monitors and is the perfect technology for WAC-window systems, new or upgrade. Suitable for Level C and Level D applications, it can meet demanding requirements for FAA certification. The DPM comprises a projection engine and lens, and a specially developed curved screen. The projection engine is a unique, high-performance fixed matrix LCOS projector, based on SEOS' patented pixel management and ‘black video' technology, which provides in excess of 100,000:1 sequential contrast. The technology used in the DPM enables it to display dusk and night scenes (including light points) with correct dynamic range, and bridges one of the main gaps that have existed between CRT devices and light-valve alternatives. The DPM is compatible with the use of unmodified in-service night vision enhancement devices, and has been successfully tested with Gen 3 night vision goggles (NVGs), including ANVIS-6 and ANVIS-9.
