Rockwell Collins’ ARINC Border Management solution has been selected by the Dominican Republic for enhanced immigration and border control, as part of a larger customs management system implemented by Hyundai Autoever of South Korea. The overall project is made possible through South Korea’s participation in the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), a group of countries dedicated to promoting policies that will improve the economic and social well-being of people around the world.

Rockwell Collins today unveiled a lightweight, wearable version of its proven FireStorm integrated targeting system at DSEI 2015.
The new FireStorm system offers a scalable targeting capability for both mobile and static applications. Based upon the most widely used joint fires system in the world, the wearable version of FireStorm delivers the highest levels of accuracy, maintains full digital interoperability with a wide range of coalition aircraft and artillery systems, and has a new intuitive, easy to use interface.

Lufthansa Airlines’ passengers will be able to check-in faster at the airport due to the implementation of Rockwell Collins’ new ARINC vMUSE™ mobile passenger processing solution. Lufthansa is the first airline to implement this new technology, which gives it the ability to check-in travelers wherever and whenever needed.

Rockwell Collins has signed an agreement with Airport Authority Hong Kong (AA) to deploy 120 common use self-service bag drop systems at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), making it one of the largest self-service bag drop projects in the world. This new system will allow travelers at one of the world’s busiest airports to self-tag their bags, speeding up the departure process for passengers and reducing handling costs for the airport.

The flexible and modular Rockwell Collins Pro Line Fusion integrated avionics system has been selected for 20 aircraft, including business jet, air transport, tilt-rotor and military flight decks. It’s even been flight tested as an unmanned aerial system ground station.
Now, at the China Helicopter Exposition taking place Sept. 9-13, the award-winning system is making its debut for the Asian commercial helicopter market. A brand new Pro Line Fusion demonstrator will debut in the Rockwell Collins exhibit (Exhibit Hall 1, Stand C110) where visitors can “fly” the rotary wing avionics solution.
