This service includes Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS) messaging, which delivers critical flight information in real time. Just in time for the 2016 Atlantic hurricane season, Wilkens Weather Technologies (WWT) has released a new version of its iOS Mobile App. The latest version contains a series of major upgrades to the app’s Interactive Weather Map, including a new Threat Profile feature which is now embedded within the global tropical cyclone tracking tools, allowing immediate threat identification of tropical systems with respect to customer assets.

If Fellini is to be believed, the folks in Brevard County, Florida, have created a whole library of oyster autobiographies with their Community Based Oyster Reef Restoration and Monitoring project. The effort was a project that has benefitted from the Rockwell Collins Green Communities grants, an annual program that funds projects that improve the environment in communities where Rockwell Collins operates.

Rockwell Collins announced that Wellington Airport and the Common Use Terminal Equipment (CUTE) clubs at both Auckland and Christchurch International Airports have each selected Rockwell Collins common use passenger processing solutions (CUPPS), enabling the airports to reduce costs and passengers to experience faster check-in times.

Metrojet, a Hong Kong based six-star business aviation services company, has engaged Rockwell Collins’ ARINCDirectSM to provide international trip support services for its fleet business aircraft. The new contract expands Metrojet’s relationship with Rockwell Collins, which is currently using a number of ARINCDirect’s integrated services.

Zetta Jet has selected Rockwell Collins’ ARINCDirect to provide its customers with the fastest internet speeds available through Viasat Yonder over KU band and Inmarsat Jet ConneX (JX) over KA band. Zetta Jet is the first business jet provider in Asia to offer high-speed connectivity across its fleet of aircraft.
