Robert P. (Bob) Haag is vice president and general manager of Communication & Navigation Products for Rockwell Collins Government Systems. Haag is responsible for the company’s military communications business including Software Defined Radios (SDR), Data Link Solutions (DLS) and satellite communications. He was named to the position in May 2011.
Since joining the company in 2006, Mr. Haag has held various management positions of increasing responsibility. Most recently, he served as vice president and general manager of Precision Strike and Navigation Products for Rockwell Collins Government Systems. In that role, he had full responsibility for profit and loss, customer relationship management, program execution and new business pursuits in the Precision Strike and Navigation Products life cycle value stream. He has also served as senior director of Soldier Solutions for Government Systems Surface Solutions where he was responsible for products and systems used and worn by soldiers to enhance communications and situation awareness.
Haag earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University, and a Master of Science degree from Iowa State University.
He is a member of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA), Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), and the Institute for Navigation (ION).
He is also a director for the boards of Vision Systems International and for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cedar Rapids.
